Skumtech AS, established in 1998, has become a leading company in Norway within water and frost protection. With large facilities and a spacious site offering high storage capacity, Skumtech is ideally located near the E6 highway, providing easy access to major transport networks. This enables us to deliver products quickly and efficiently — a key factor in meeting our customers’ needs reliably.

For more than 15 years, we have partnered with Berkosan, our main supplier of raw materials. Berkosan is ISO 9000 certified and a leading manufacturer in its field. The company is also publicly listed, underscoring its strong market position. This long-standing and reliable supplier relationship provides us access to high-quality PE foam — a key component in our solutions.

The PE foam we use has a lifespan of up to 120 years when installed in tunnels and embedded in concrete or prefabricated elements. The foam consists of four layers and is cross-linked, meaning it is equally strong in all directions. In addition, we use skirts that are 8 mm thick and reinforced with steel mesh for extra durability.

At Skumtech AS, we are also committed to environmentally friendly and efficient transportation. We collaborate with local transporters using modern trucks to deliver our products, and where suitable, we also use sea freight to reduce environmental impact. Through these measures, we ensure that our products are not only of the highest quality but also delivered in a sustainable way.
